Kristyn and Greg’s microbiome review paper has been accepted for publication in Hormones and Behavior! This review discusses evidence for the role of the gut microbiome in modulating social behavior and addresses potential mechanisms by which the microbiome may be communicating with the brain and immune system to influence behavior.
